I took a Chance
I went over to the local makeup store to pick up some concealer on my lunch hour. I make a bee line straight for the Clinique display. I was looking for the correct shade (mysteriously missing!) when I was asked if I needed help. Like a fool I said yes. The gentleman offering me help looked unexpectantly like one of Red's exboyfriends (the much rued P.) only about a foot taller. Before I knew it, he had me in the chair and was schooling me in the joy that is Chanel. Yeah, that's right. This is the big time Honey. I actually learned some good stuff. I also spent $75.00 on new foundation and concealer. The gentleman who helped me, a mister Tyson Baker (I sware that must be a stage name or something!) was very nice, helpful and seemed to enjoy his job. The kicker for me was when I noticed he was wearing mascara. Gotta give a man credit who can pull off mascara in the middle the day. Before I hopped out of the chair, I got a little spritz of Chanel Chance. Good stuff that.
So anyway, I realize that this little interlude was far funnier to me at the time than it is to you now, but there you go.
