Radio Silence
My, I have been quiet. I basically been ignoring my blog, which seems to be a general trend among my blogging friends. Why so quiet? Nothing much is going on. Also, it is slowly dawning on me that I tend to share too much of the wrong information. Not just on the blog, but in general. I get excited about some new plan or idea and want to share it. But inevitably the plan either changes mid-stream, doesn't pan out or I lose interest. Then I feel dumb for making a grand pronouncment in the first place. Those who have known me a long time have seen many of these boom and bust cycles. Knowing that whatever exciting plan I am hatching now is likely to fail discourages me from sharing it. Because really, who wants to be that vulnerable? I am not sure I do.
Quote of the Day:
The fact is that child rearing is a long, hard job, the rewards are not always immediately obvious, the work is undervalued, and parents are just as human and almost as vulnerable as their children.
